#Repost @sanctuaryic_kidswing (@get_repost) ・・・ Hi friends, the kids wing will be closed tomorrow to give our workers and volunteers a break, and to give us extra time to prepare for summer programming. Kids are welcome to sit with their families in the sanctuary, and we will have coloring pages, crayons and books for kids to use. Thank you!
Our Hands on Faith ministry organized volunteers to help serve at Coralville Central Elementary School event last night - we had so much fun!
We’re glad to offer a #Contemplative Service this Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m. The service will include readings, music, and guided contemplative prayer practices. We recognize that contemplation can be challenging and even unnatural in our over-stimulated culture. But when we quiet the chatter in our minds, we can meet God in new and life-giving ways. Whether you’re new to contemplative prayer or experienced, you will find this to be accessible and helpful.
Our Kids Wing has launched their own Instagram account - @sanctuaryic_kidswing! The first post is an exciting hint about this coming Sunday...can you guess what it might be? #kidsmin #newkidsontheblock #notkiddingaround 🐐
We delivered our $10,000 Blessing check to United Action for Youth yesterday, and they posted this picture of a couple of their staff along with Sanctuary member Katie Iverson and pastor David Borger Germann. We’re honored to support the great work of UAY!

Join us for our Good Friday Service this Friday, April 19, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Good Friday is the annual remembrance of Jesus' crucifixion. We mark this important date through a worship service that includes scripture readings, music, and imagery. As we contemplate Jesus' suffering, we are drawn more into God's fullness. This is one of the most important special worship services all year that brings the Lenten season to its climax. Childcare is available for kids ages 0-5, but we ask that you RSVP to Phyllis ([email protected]) to reserve a spot.
